There are many variations and opportunities available to marketing products and services online. The appeal of internet marketing is the fact it gives anyone the opportunity to work from home with just a computer and access to the internet and earn an incredible income.

Resale Rights Products - MRR and PLR
A resale rights product is a product someone has produced and made available for people to buy online. Generally these are electronic products, ebooks, evideos or software. The beauty of these types of products are that when someone purchases them you don't have to have a warehouse full of stock and ship the item out to the customer. It is simple to set-up a sales page with an integrated paypal button. The customer buys the product and following completion of payment they are redirected immediately to a site allowing them to download the product. No intervention from you! You could be making a cup of tea or be fast asleep when the sale happens and the customer will have the product.
When you buy a Resale Rights Product the pack will include a licence. This is usually a text document or a PDF that states the rules from the author of what you can and can't do with the product. Any product usually falls in to one of these 3 categories: -
Resale Rights Product
This means you can sell on the product and keep 100% of the profits. You must keep the product in its original state and it must not be modified.
Master Resale Rights (MMR)
This is as above but this time you may also pass on Resale Rights to your customer. Many products include the website you can use to sell the product that you simply add your name to and upload to the internet.

Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate Marketing is selling someone elses product. Again these are usually electronic products but unlike Resale Rights products you don't earn 100% of the sale, instead you will earn a percentage. The product creator gets paid too.
The benefit to the Vendor (person selling the product) is that they make more sales than they would on their own as they have lots of people trying to sell their products for them. It's better for the Vendor to make the sale and give away 10, 20, 30, 40 or even 50% of the sale than have not made the sale at all. (Remember these are electronic products so any profit is ALL profit!)
The benefit to the Affiliate is that they don't have to create their own product they can be highly rewarded for simply selling someone elses products.
Many people make a living entirely from affiliate marketing. My main source of income is my MLM (Multi Level Marketing) business opportunity however I also market affiliate products to compliment this.
So where do you find affiliate products to promote? There are many places but ClickBank is one you may have heard of and is one of the best.
You can register for free and start promoting products straight away. You will get a specific link to promote and this will link to you, so if someone buys the product by clicking your link, you get the commission.

In addition to being an affiliate for an individual product, there are some membership websites that you can become an affiliate for, where members pay a monthly subscription fee. These can be very profitable as you get paid a percentage of each monthly subscription payment.
MLM - Multi Level Marketing
Multi Level Marketing or MLM is a technique used in marketing companies to encourage more distributors of it's system / product or service.
