Autoresponders are a must for an Internet Marketer.  Many people don't purchase immediately when they first see a product or service online so capturing the individuals name and email means you can make follow up contact and hopefully make a sale further down the line.

Auto responders are a fantastic tool for automating your business.  People can put their name and email in on your website while you are sleeping or on holiday but they will continue to receive a series of emails to tell them more about you, what you do and more importantly what you offer.

You've heard it before I'm sure "The Money is in the List", these lists are built using autoresponders.  Once someone is on your list you can contact them in the future with any new product or service you are offering.  Create and email and click send and your email goes to everyone on your list, a percentage will read the mail and a percentage will purchase the product or service, the size of the percentages depend on the size of the list so list building is something you should always be trying to do.

As you would expect there are many companies offering AutoResponder services, I did try a free one in the early days but it was so complicated it would need a full training section just for that.
